As MCI Mild Cognitive Impairment / Early-Stage Alzheimer's reduces the amount and effectiveness of brain activity, a corresponding increase takes place in the person's availability for spiritual-based activity, that is, Mild Spiritual Enhancement (MSE).  Put in simple terms, the reduction in thinking releases an opportunity for increase in spiritual feeling, which can occur when the person is guided to apply the increased availability of feeling to spiritual expression.

The MSE Mild Spiritual Enhancement approach with its positive growth direction directly connects and contrasts with the MCI Mild Cognitive Impairment approach which relates only to the negative, decline aspects of the condition.  In addition to its other powers the words/expression of MSE are able to have a very positive impact on how people identify themselves, their condition, their future, and their relationship to the world.  MSE is part of the overall initiative The~Alzheimer's~Conversation.com.

A Different Approach to the MCI-Dementia-Alzheimer-Death Process

 

A person's path of MCI-Dementia-Alzheimer-Death is usually considered in terms of decline in cognitive capability.  A different approach takes advantage of the possibility of spiritual release/growth which occurs in the early part of this process as described above.
