Deferring Dementia Action
A person at a moderate stage of dementia may choose to explore the possibility of deferring action related to the risk of moving to a more advanced stage of dementia. Deferring dementia action may include steps such as:

accept the risk of moving to a more advanced stage of dementia on the chance that the person will be lucid enough at some point at the more advanced stage to perform the deferred dementia action

accept the risk of moving to a more advanced stage of dementia on the chance that an arrangement will lead to the desired result.
