Interfaith Dementia Support Group
Information and Contact
Support for people with dementia and their families often comes from other people, including in Support Groups. People also often get support through their faith. An Interfaith Dementia Support Group is being formed to provide a way for participants to center on an element that connects them -- dementia -- and learn how different faiths relate to this horrible condition. Dementia connecting people with differences.
The Group will be led by Wally Klatch, whose experience in relating to dementia is shown in the top part of his web page TheAlzheimersConversation.com and whose efforts to raise Awareness and Conversation about dementia are shown under "Media Links" on that page. He writes each week about how dementia is expressed in the Bible. Wally was diagnosed with Early-Stage Dementia three years ago.
The Interfaith Dementia Support Group will meet on Zoom once a month for 75 minutes, and will provide support through interaction of participants both on their personal experiences and on faith resources.
If you have been diagnosed with dementia or provide care to someone who has been, and are interested in being part of the Interfaith Dementia Support Group, please complete the form below.
